Shakeology®….It’s A Salad Bar But In A Glass!!

Shakeology® is the revolutionary new nutritional drink on the market created by Beachbody®.  Shakeology is simply a healthy meal in a glass and can be used as a meal replacement shake to aid in weight loss or used as a snack throughout the day.

The ingredients in Shakeology are what separate it from every other health drink on the market. It contains a whopping 70 ingredients in one serving. You would have to hit a salad buffet 5 times to equal the level of nutrition in one drink.

Currently I take Shakeology in the morning as a part of my weight loss plan while I am doing P90x. Unlike other meal replacement shakes on the market I am not left feeling hungry after an hour. Currently Shakeology comes in two flavors and Greenberry and there is no crappy after taste.

Each day I mix a scoop of Shakeology into a blender with frozen fruit and a cup of milk. Studies done on Shakeology showed that after 90 days participants dropped an average of 10 pounds when it was used as a meal replacement. Results were even greater when it was coupled with 3 days of exercise per week. Since I started taking Shakeology I have noticed that my weight loss has almost doubled each week.

It’s important to note that Shakeology should not be misconstrued as a protein shake. While it does contain protein it should not be confused as a protein shake. If protein is important as part of your weight loss then you should also be including Whey Protein Powder as a part of your daily diet.
